Kakha Bar

Kakha Bar is a friendly place with a Georgian touch on the main bar street in St.Petersburg. It offers signature traditional  Georgian hospitality, maintaining modern and contemporary feel as the Georgian capital, Tbilisi. The innovative approach is not only sticking to tradition, but also portraying the genuine mood of what Tbilisi is actually like right now.

Bold eclectic style conveys the dynamic bar atmosphere. It incorporates historical St.Petersburg and Tbilisi style of the 19 century, which have much in common, the classical paintings of the most famous Georgian artist Pirosmani, contemporary elements and handmade graphics.

The concept is based on what unites the two cities visually and spiritually, by site and the feelings, a non-obvious heritage appreciated by both cities people — the front door stairs. The style of the stairs is on a time crossroad, and this is the place where life happens. Guests are coming in and out, people say hello and goodbye, this is the place where the first kiss takes place and every detail reminds of some memorable moments. The hexagon tile from the entrance door floor (in both cities and in the bar) was used as a grid for logo construction. The illustrations add soul and home-like feel. As we all know, the stairs in our houses are always full of drawings and wise thoughts.
